Air cargo’s anemic peak season nothing to celebrate Air cargo demand has picked up after a long slide, but the busy season leading up to the holidays has been disappointing by historical standards.

The Port of Long Beach, TSA and IDEMIA are hosting a Pop-Up TWIC enrollment event October 17-18. Drivers and other Port workers can apply for a TWIC card and RFID tags needed in the port complex. CARB representatives will be onsite to provide information about new truck requirements for 2024.

The Port of Los Angeles moved 828,016 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) in August, a 3% increase compared to the same period last year. It was the Port’s first monthly year-over-year increase in 13 months. https://portofla.org/0823TEUs
