Red Velvet Cake đ°
This one was so much fun.
We wanted that icy blonde to POP, so I created a veil effect through the top using a pizza-slice sectioning. Think of the crust as the widest part in the front, with each section gradually getting smaller toward the back. This allows the blonde to drape over the deeper red underneath like a veil, giving you that bright blonde moment from the front while revealing all the rich dimension and depth as the hair moves.
Underneath, we created this rich Red Velvet using Schwarzkopf Vibrance 5-99 + -89. To keep the blonde bright and clean, I carefully performed an off-the-scalp bleach retouch through the veil section, allowing the roots to process before pulling the lightener through the ends for the final 10 minutes. This helped bump out some of the existing warmth while maintaining the integrity of the hair. We finished with BlondMe Ice Toner for that crisp, icy blonde.
The contrast is EVERYTHING. đ
