⚡️3 “Levels” of EV Charging ⚡

⚡️Level 1: 120V AC (Standard 3-prong outlet)Slow, overnight recovery. Gets the job done if you’ve got time.

⚡️Level 2: 240V AC (Electric dryer/oven outlet)The real daily driver setup. Efficient. Practical.

⚡️DC Fast Charging: 400V to 1000V DCHigh-voltage. Direct-to-pack. Road trip energy when you need it now.

Know what you’re plugging into, understanding the difference changes how you build, drive, and plan electric.

Working with an EV means knowing exactly what you’re looking at. High-voltage cables aren’t a guess — they’re clearly marked for a reason. For those that don’t know, Orange = High Voltage! ⚡️⚡️

Should we start a series of quick tips and how to’s??🤔🤔

A look back at one of our favorite builds this year, the 1997 Subaru Sambar reimagined with our guys built for 👀⚡️

This Kei Truck now powered by a 120hp Hyper9 motor and a 32.9kWh battery pack. Built in collaboration with Big Time, this project was all about proving what’s possible when smart engineering meets creative problem-solving.
From repurposed components that are used on our very own training benches to a clean, factory-style install, this build shows that EV conversions don’t have to be complicated to be effective. 🙌⚡️

Small truck. Big ideas. ⚡️

While most people are wrapping presents… our team is wrapping up assembly on the next batch of training benches.👀⚡️

These 100V training benches are the final builds of the year — headed to classrooms where the next generation of EV technicians will learn the skills that shape the future.
Grateful for every partner, every school, every student, and every spark we helped ignite this year.
Here’s to an even bigger 2026. 🙌

Happy Holidays from all of us at Legacy EV. ⚡️🎄

We spent last week in Guyana supporting the UN’s ‘Just Energy Transition’ initiative — helping deliver hands-on EV training to a group of incredibly dedicated technicians. 🇬🇾⚡

Guyana is investing in its people early, building skills and opportunities as part of its national Low Carbon Development Strategy. Being part of that work, even in a small way, was an honor.

The trainees brought so much heart and focus to every moment of the training. This is what preparing for the future looks like — people learning, growing, and planning together.

Proud to support. Grateful to be included.
