I remember this like it was yesterday.
You came in with the “best” copper paint you could buy, so we could make the sun rays perfect.
You had your own idea of how to make the snowflakes with the UV paint, and they were so complex, I thought we should abandon the idea. Instead we made more of them.
We climbed all over the wood panels, with UV lights and stayed from morning to night so we could see how it would glow.
We talked about life, and what we could create.
Please know that I love you, and miss you. Let your energy follow me wherever I go 💗

Being a full time artist is challenging, and I appreciate the support of my community in my efforts.
More than half of what I create is on a volunteer basis, and I’m grateful for those opportunities! When I’m hired to do private commissions, it allows me the financial freedom to mentor our youth, and create new opportunities for art in our community. I will be selling limited framed prints of a live painting at Olalla Bay Market & Landing
These beauties are limited edition numbered prints, that will be hand signed and numbered at time of purchase 💙
Tomorrow only #3- #10 are available, starting at 9am. 10 more are available for pre order to pick up in store the following week. The first 20 in this series of framed prints will be discounted to onlv $45, with larger sizes available for pre order only.
After the event, they will exclusively be sold through the market at normal retail price until the series runs out.
This is the first of a local collectors series. I will also have hand painted hats and other art available. ☀️ SUN and SHAMROCKS ☘️ all day tomorrow!!! See you then!!!

Come join us at the studio tomorrow night during the beautiful Gig Harbor boat parade!
Jason at Medusa Glass will be doing a glass art demonstration, Dane Drebinwith Bartenders for Hire will be providing glow in the dark mocktails, which will be perfect to have in hand for a photo op in front of the UV mural on the side of our building!
To top it all off, you or your little one can get some UV face paint to rock as well!
The studio will be open, and the new Breakwater Inn will also be available to view before it opens next month.

The mural is up! Thank you to everyone who contributed! Kayla Neuher, Allovus, The City of Gig Harbor, the Gig Harbor Arts Commission, and Devoted Kiss.
We are so excited to see our first set of interactive art installed this week on the side of our building! Thank you to the Gig Harbor Arts Commission for funding this project. We look forward to seeing the community enjoy this work for years to come.
