This sale was amazing Stefek's Auctioneers and Appraisers we walked away with a few great pieces for a home I’m designing . Follow along for more thrifted designs and to see how I incorporate these finds in my clients home !

I love how this space came together .. she had some great pieces to work with so as always I put on my thrifty hat to see what we could still use . Kept the dining table just purchased new chairs . The hutch was painted and the back was wallpapered vs buying new . Pulled in a few more new pieces, sourced some accessories from other areas of the home bs buying all new. Added a rug to help distinguish the seating area from the dining area. Added picture molding to the walls and painted in peppercorn by Sherwin-Williams. Message for more info on my design services .

Welcome to episode 2 of my thrifted home today we’re stepping into my bedroom. So many items here were thrifted so many more to go here’s all the details !
Cedar trunk $75 1/2 price day at estate sale .
Antique framed mirror above bed $20 at yard sale I used gold rub and buff to make gold
Bedside table $150 1/2 off day at estate sale .
Frame and flower vase above bedside table $5 and $6 at estate sale.
Chenille bedspread $20 at estate sale . All items for $276!! Definitely could not buy all of this items at a store for anywhere near that price !! They don’t call me Thrifty Designs for nothing ! Follow along for more of my thrifted home! Message for more information on my decorating services.

Want more color in your home but afraid to go all in and paint the walls a bold color ?!?!? Here are some other ways to incorporate color.
Paint your trim and doors in a color vs the walls.
Use colorful art or rugs for a fun pop that can be swapped out more easily.
Colorful curtains are a great way to add some color to a space ! Small pops of color can be just as impactful as color drenching a room .

Before and After … My client and I shopped secondhand to complete this space . One of my favorite things about designing with thrifted decor is that no two spaces ever look the same. Can you guess which items in this room were thrifted? Let me know in the comments
