This week I did some renovations and repair on my studio/workshop. See what you think!

Working on a nice Yamaha tenor sax today. It has been in a humid storage location so the pads and body of the instrument had a lot of mold to be cleaned and sanitized. So far the project is going very well. The body, case, and all of the pads, screws and rods are fully cleaned Now for a bit of soldering broken bits and getting it all back together

Cleaning recorders, fifes and chanters today. Nice wooden recorders need to have the mouthpiece block taken out so that they can be cleaned and oiled properly.

Today I took on a non-instrumental project of my 25 year old KitchenAid mixer. I got it all apart with the help of videos by Mr. Mixer and all back together and it runs 🎉

Working on the water for the shop... Can't wait.

My first repair job in the new shop. There are still a lot of things to do to be fully up and working, but it was great to work on this beautiful Bach Strad

The Flute Festival Cruise rehearsals are now happening aboard the Vision of the Seas. Our guest clinician Gareth Mclearnon is lending me his beautiful Contra for the Low Flute choir concert. It is easier to manage than I imagined!
