I had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Ruth Roberts at the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center today as we were waiting for her group to arrive. She will be escorting the group to Washington, DC as their licensed tour guide. I loved her spirit!

GGR staff took a trip to the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD today. Our tour guide Katie did an excellent job of debunking many of the myths about medical care during the Civil War. We highly recommend this museum, along with the Pry House Field Hospital Museum and the Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office Museum.
