Greenmount Community Fire Department

This afternoon shortly before 2:30 Station 23 was alerted for the Working fire dispatch in Gettysburg , off N. Stratton St.

Engine 23 responded with five personnel and a few minutes later Engine Tanker 23 responded with three personnel. Units arrived and staged per command, then moving to assisting in overhaul/checking for extension in the adjacent apartment and assisting with ventilation. Chief 23 assisted with command 1.

Greenmount is saddened by the loss of life memeber Sam Cool. He was part of our fire police team. He was a member of our department since March 14th, 2006.
