Please welcome our newest FX Rep, Casey McCoy!

Casey has been involved in the performing arts for over 25 years now; Originally from New Hartford, NY, Casey currently resides in Middletown, NY and continues to share his expertise with programs across the country.

Casey’s performance career began at New Hartford High School in Upstate NY, where his passion for the activity quickly expanded to the drum corps arena. He performed with the All-Age groups Syracuse Brigadiers (NY), Empire Statesmen (NY) and the Hawthorne Caballeros (NJ).

While drum corps laid a strong foundation, Casey’s true artistic passion has always been indoor color guard. He has been a member of several WGI finalist ensembles, including Brigadiers Winterguard (Syracuse, NY), Spectrum Winterguard (Binghamton, NY), and Alter Ego (Trumbull, CT). In 2015, Casey and members of Alter Ego performed in David Byrne’s live performance event Contemporary Color, which premiered in Toronto and Brooklyn and was later featured as a documentary film that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

For the past two decades, Casey has turned his attention to design, instruction, and consultation. He has worked with various high school, independent, and drum corps programs nationwide. Currently, he is actively involved with Mohonasen High School (NY), West Milford High School (NJ), and Origins Performing Arts (TX). Casey also currently serves as Co-Caption Head for the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps (WY) Color Guard and is a member of the Task Force for the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network.

Outside of the performing arts, Casey enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends in Upstate New York and enjoys binging reality television; he looks forward to working the FX team, offering exceptional customer care and helping clients bring their programs to life!

Featuring music from Radiohead, Ibrahim Maalouf, Moulin Rouge, The Seatbelts, and more, Mise En Place blends cinematic storytelling, contemporary jazz, and relentless energy into one unforgettable summer.
