Key City Steampunk Presents: Worlds of Tomorrow takes place August 7–9, 2026, at the Wyndham Gettysburg in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and we are looking for a few more volunteers to help throughout the weekend.

Volunteers assist with a variety of convention operations, including registration, event support, gaming, guest assistance, setup, teardown, and more. It's a great way to meet fellow attendees, get involved behind the scenes, and help create an amazing experience for our community.

Not to mention - every 4 hour shift gets you a free daily pass!

At Key City Steampunk Presents: Worlds of Tomorrow, you don't just follow along with the story... you help write it! Attendees can take part in an interactive convention-wide game where every quest, discovery, and decision helps shape the outcome. The results of this year's adventure directly influence the theme and storyline of the following year's event. What happens next is truly up to you.

When going to a convention - it's always important that you have pockets to hold stuffs, and Key City Steampunk Presents: Worlds of Tomorrow has you covered! We are pleased to welcome back this August 7th thru the 9th Scarves of Holding to Gettysburg, PA!

What is a Scarf of Holding you ask? It is an infinity scarf with a hidden zippered pocket! The pocket is an interdimensional space that can easily hold large cell phones, wallets, keys, snacks, or whatever else you need to hide from the world. They are perfect for travel, festivals, cosplay, pet walking, or anytime you want an extra pocket handy. They are also available with a hood! Other items you can find in our booth include dice bags, mimic bags, and tea wallets. Have an idea for a scarf? Stop by and ask! Custom orders are available.

Fashion, either high fashion of the elite sky captains or overalls covered in grease, has and will continue to be one of the defining elements of steampunk. As such, Key City Steampunk Presents: Worlds of Tomorrow is elated to welcome back this August 7th thru the 9th in Gettysburg PA, award winning professional costumers Erik and Ré Teague!

Erik and Ré Teague are a dynamic duo of Costumers based in Alexandria, VA. Joined in matrimony as well as professionally, each create costume art for Theatre and Opera in the Washington DC area and beyond. Ré is an accomplished Costume Technician with over two decades of experience creating custom garments for performers and patrons alike. Erik is a Helen Hayes Award winning Costume Designer and Crafts Artist who’s designs have been seen on stages from New York to New Mexico and every place in between. These Artists share a deep love for the Dark Victorian aesthetic and delight in any good excuse for top hats and finery. They are delighted to return to the Key City Steampunk Convention, which has become another artistic haunt for them and their costumed coterie, The Gentlemonsters.

This weekend, Key City will be diving into the monumental task of assembling the official schedule for Key City Steampunk Convention's Key City Steampunk Presents: Worlds of Tomorrow!

If you've been considering hosting a workshop, panel discussion, presentation, demonstration, or other attendee activity and you haven't submitted your application yet, now is the time.

We've already sent a number acceptance notifications for some programming submissions, but our review process is still ongoing, so there is still time. If you have already submitted and received your acceptance notification you do not need to do anything. If you have submitted something and have not heard back yet - do not resubmit. If you want to verify if the application was received feel free to email [email protected].

Believe me - we would love to be able to accept every submission we receive but there is only so much time and so much space. Regardless if your application is accepted or not, we sincerely thank you for the support and look forward to seeing you in August!
