Welcome to the 4th Virginia Infantry! Based in historic Gettysburg, we are always looking for recruits to join our ranks!!
The 4th Virginia Infantry is dedicated to the preservation and education of the history of the American Civil War. We participate in living history events in PA, WV, VA, and MD. We are a bit unique, with our focus is on portraying soldiers and officers of not only the 4th Virginia, but all units within the Stonewall Brigade! We are always looking for like minded individuals to join our ranks!

Our goal is to offer a place for every level, and maintain a schedule representing those levels.

The 4th is always looking for new members who want to take part in living history, and battle field events.
We are an INDEPENDENT Unit, under The Valley Division, 3rd Battalion.
We operate on our own, we stay out of re-enacting politics, and we try to change our schedule regularly to participate in events that are an enjoyable experience for everyone.
