What an incredible week at our GBC Vacation Bible School! 🤠🐴🌵

Today marked the last day of VBS, and what a wonderful week it has been! We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers who dedicated their time, energy, and hearts to making this week such a success. Your hard work helped create unforgettable memories for so many children and families.

Thank you as well to every family who came out and participated in our Western-themed adventure! Throughout the week, the kids enjoyed exciting games, delicious snacks, inspiring Bible lessons, creative arts and crafts, and even had the opportunity to see and learn about a variety of animals that visited us.

We are also so thankful for everyone who contributed to our change collection. Together, we raised funds that will serve a wonderful purpose by helping provide Bibles to those who need them. What a blessing to see our children learning not only God's Word but also the importance of sharing it with others.

Thank you for making VBS 2026 a week to remember! We pray the lessons learned and friendships made will continue to grow long after this week has ended

Day 4 of GBC VBS was another amazing day! 🎉

Our kids had a blast enjoying delicious snacks, exciting games, a wonderful Bible lesson, and creative arts and crafts. We are so thankful for all the volunteers who help make each day special!

One of the highlights of the day was our special animal visitors. The kids were thrilled to meet, pet, and learn about a couple of donkeys and a couple of cows. 🐴🐄 Their smiles said it all!

We are grateful for another day filled with fun, friendship, learning God's Word, and making lasting memories. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

What an amazing third night of GBC Church VBS! 🤠🐾⭐

Tonight was Western Wear Night, and everyone looked absolutely fantastic in their western outfits! From cowboy hats to boots, our VBS families and volunteers really embraced the theme and made the evening extra special.

One of the highlights of the night was having some animals with us again! The children loved seeing them up close, and they added so much excitement and fun to our western-themed evening. It was wonderful to watch everyone enjoy this special experience.

The night was also filled with exciting games, delicious snacks, engaging Bible lessons, creative crafts, and lots of laughter and fellowship. We are so thankful for everyone who came out and made the night such a success.

We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings as we continue learning about God’s love and growing together in faith. Thank you to all of our volunteers, parents, and children for making VBS such a wonderful week!

🤠🐴 Day 2 of GBC Church VBS was absolutely amazing!

From exciting games and delicious snacks to powerful worship and an incredible lesson, today was packed with fun, faith, and friends. Our VBS adventure is in full swing, and we're so thankful for everyone who came out and made today so special.

We can't wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the week. Saddle up, partners… the best is yet to come! 🌵⭐

🎉 What an amazing first day of VBS at GBC Church!

We were blessed with a great turnout and had so much fun together with exciting games 🎯, tasty snacks 🍪, engaging Bible lessons 📖, creative crafts ✂️, and lots of activities for everyone to enjoy!

We also had a wonderful adult class tonight that took place during VBS! It was a great time of fellowship, learning, and encouragement, and we'd love to have even more adults join us tomorrow evening!

🎁 Operation Christmas Child Update at GBC Church 🎁

This month, we're collecting toys for OCC shoeboxes! Items needed include tennis balls, music toys (bells, shakers, harmonicas), puzzles, small Etch-A-Sketches, jacks, action figures (non-war related and non-Disney), yo-yos, whistles, and small toy animals. Donations can be placed in the big red bucket in the lobby under the OCC table.

📦 Join us for our next Shoebox Workshop on Thursday, June 25, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at GBC. We'd love to have you join us for lunch afterward at Perkins!

💌 We recently received a photo and letter of gratitude from children who received shoeboxes shipped by GBC last year. What a blessing to see the impact of your generosity! Thank you for supporting this ministry and helping share hope and God's love with children in need around the world.

God is moving in our students here at GBC! 🔥

Our GBCY youth missions team had the wonderful opportunity to serve the residents at the Knott County Health & Rehabilitation Center this past week as part of their missions trip. ✝️

They spent the week spending time with the amazing residents playing games, doing arts and crafts, talking, laughing, sharing the gospel, and getting to show God’s love towards them! ❤️
