Announcing the cast of JTF 27! Please join us in congratulating the students selected to represent Firefly Creative and Memphis at the Junior Theater Festival 2027 in Atlanta!

This January, 22 Firefly performers will travel to one of the world's largest celebrations of youth musical theatre, joining thousands of students, educators, and theatre professionals from across the globe for an unforgettable weekend of performance, learning, and inspiration.

These students auditioned and were selected to be part of Firefly's JTF 2027 team. Over the coming months, they will rehearse and prepare a special cutting of Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr., which they will perform for adjudicators and industry professionals at the festival. Along the way, they'll participate in workshops, connect with students from around the world, and proudly represent both Firefly and the city of Memphis on an international stage.

Being selected for this team is a tremendous accomplishment, and we could not be more excited for the journey ahead. We know these students will grow as performers, teammates, and leaders as they prepare for this incredible opportunity.

Firefly is thrilled to announce the cast of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown ON TOUR! ✨💛

This production will feature two casts — the Joe Cool Cast and the Flying Ace Cast — inspired by Snoopy’s beloved alter egos. We can’t wait to bring the Peanuts gang to schools and community spaces across the Mid-South in Spring 2027.

Rehearsals begin this fall, and audiences will have plenty of opportunities to catch sneak peeks throughout the season. The adventure officially kicks off at our annual Dinner Theatre in early February before the tour hits the road!

Congratulations to our incredible cast. We’re excited to watch this group bring heart, humor, and happiness to audiences everywhere.

Students selected for our JTF team will:

🎤 Perform an adjudicated 15-minute cutting of DreamWorks’ Madagascar – A Musical Adventure Jr.
🎭 Participate in workshops led by Broadway professionals
🏆 Experience performances, talkbacks, awards, and unforgettable memories
🤝 Connect with thousands of theatre students from across the world

Goodbye Mary Poppins! We won’t forget you ❤️☂️

Mary Poppins Jr. has officially flown away with the wind… and what a practically perfect way to close out Firefly Creative’s first official season of programming. 🪁

This season’s theme was DREAMS, and together we watched so many come to life. From workshops and classes to tours, productions, trips, and outdoor theatre magic, this year became something truly special.
