Thinking of my dear mother and the agony we must have caused her at times through our growing up years. There were 6 of us to get through young adulthood. She was graceful with each other, though I know often, scared particularly after Dad died an untimely death at the tender age of 53.
This song was written for my sons...and oddly, co-written by my sons 7 years ago... also roughly recorded then. I am, unabashedly, that over protective mama bear like my mother was and still is...and tonight, Mom...this one's for you. Thank you for easing us through the tough times. ❤
