Another, “change your sign” customer experience moment here on Delta Air Lines (who have slipped in the service delivery and reliability stakes on my last few flights).

Ok. It’s a short flight - 45 minutes - but don’t announce that Comfort has water, coffee, snacks, and additional bits and bobs available, then just come around offering only water and snacks, like you’re trying to set a world record for distributing small, plastic bottles to 100 people. It screams, “it’s difficult for us to provide service on a short trip, so we’re not going to try.” Just tell us ahead of time, set the expectation, tell us what youre going to do, and explain the options, rather than read out the standard announcement.

You can do better.

Rant over. “We’re maing our final descent.”
