This past week, three members of the Texas Oak Realty Group team—Sherri, Ashley, and Edmarie—had the incredible opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to attend the National Association of REALTORS® and Women’s Council of REALTORS® Mid-Year Meeting.

While there, we met with congressional offices representing Williamson and Travis County residents to discuss issues impacting homeowners, property rights, and the real estate industry. We were honored to help advocate for homeowners while learning about legislative initiatives that could affect our communities.

Experiences like these remind us that real estate is about so much more than buying and selling houses. It’s about protecting homeownership, supporting our communities, and being a voice for the people we serve every day.
