Calling all toddler parents! Forbes Academy is hosting the very first of our "Montessori with Me!" series, "Bake with Me!" on Thursday, October 8, 2026! 👩‍🍳
Join us for a morning of baking fun with a Montessori guide leading the presentation. Get tips for cooking at home with your toddler, meet other parents, and have a treat to eat at the end 🧁
Spaces will be limited, so please RSVP by DMing, emailing, or scanning the QR code on the pic.
Please note that this event has a $25 supply fee per child, which can be paid upon arrival.

Some things do more than fill a space. They tell a story. 🤎

This beautiful, one-of-a-kind Moroccan rug was generously donated to Forbes Academy by dueeast, and we are so grateful to have a piece with such a meaningful journey woven into it.

The name Due East comes from a beautiful connection: travel due east from Texas along the 31° N latitude line, and eventually you’ll meet Morocco. Two places, thousands of miles apart, connected by a line, a love of design, and a celebration of authentic Moroccan craftsmanship.

And now, a little piece of that story lives at Forbes. 🌍✨

The children will know where it came from, whose hands and traditions shaped it, and how something as ordinary as the ground beneath us can become an invitation to wonder about geography, culture, craftsmanship, people, and places beyond our own.

Already, it has become a place to gather, create music, work together, and simply be.

Thank you, Due East, for giving our children more than a rug. You gave them a story to sit upon, learn from, and carry with them. 🤎🌱

And we think that is a pretty beautiful foundation to build a classroom on.
