We wanted to share a personal update regarding our recent closure this past weekend and any possible future changes to our hours or unexpected closures that may occur.

Many of you know and love Sis, and know just how much this shop has always meant to her. Last week, she experienced a very sudden and rapid decline in her health following a medical episode that led to hospitalization. During this time, we learned she suffered a stroke at some point and has now also been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. Everything has happened incredibly quickly, and our family is still trying to process and navigate these major changes while making sure she receives the care and support she needs. Her care and well-being are our first priority.

This shop has always been more than just a business to us… it is part of our family’s life, history, and heart. So are the people who walk through its doors. The love, concern, patience, and kindness so many of you have already shown mean more to us than words can express.

We are doing everything we can to continue keeping the shop open and maintain regular business hours as much as possible. We simply ask for grace and understanding if there are times we may need to adjust hours or unexpectedly close due to caregiving needs or limited help in the shop while our family works through this sudden change.

Thank you for continuing to support our family, love Sis, and stand beside us during such an incredibly emotional time. If you know her, then you know this shop is truly her heart.
