I told God, “I’m tired. I’m overwhelmed. I don’t know if I can keep doing this.”

And He whispered…
“Then stop trying to do My job.” 🤍

That hit me.

Because how many times do we pray for God to move…
but then stay up all night trying to figure out how He’s going to do it?

How many times do we hand Him our problems…
just to pick them right back up?

We try to control the outcome.
Fix every situation.
Carry everyone’s emotions.
Predict every next step.
Prepare for every possible thing that could go wrong.

And then we wonder why we’re exhausted.

But God never asked us to carry the weight of tomorrow.
He never asked us to have every answer.
He never asked us to understand the whole plan before trusting Him.

He simply said, “Follow Me.” 🕊️

The same God who parted seas…
The same God who made a way when there was no way…
The same God who has carried you through every season you thought would break you…

Is still holding you right now.

So unclench your hands.
Release what you were never meant to carry.
Pray about it… and actually leave it with Him.

Because surrender isn’t giving up.

It’s finally realizing God can do more with your trust than you ever could with your control. 🤍

Spiritual maturity is realizing the goodness of God isn’t determined by how good your circumstances look. 🤍

It’s praising Him when the prayer hasn’t been answered yet.
It’s trusting Him when the door closes.
It’s believing He’s working even when you can’t see the evidence.

Because faith isn’t only saying “God is good” when life is easy…
it’s standing in the middle of the storm and still knowing:

He is faithful.
He is present.
He is still writing the story.

The circumstance may change, but His goodness never does. 🤍

Forgive yourself for not knowing then what life had to teach you.

You weren’t supposed to have today’s wisdom with yesterday’s experience.

Sometimes we look back and wonder…
“How did I not see it?”
“Why did I stay?”
“Why did I choose that?”
“Why didn’t I know better?”

But growth doesn’t work backwards.

God uses the seasons we didn’t understand…
the mistakes we wish we could erase…
and the moments we thought broke us…
to shape us into who we are becoming.

The version of you back then was doing the best they could with what they knew.

Give yourself grace.

Because sometimes the lessons we prayed to learn gently…
came through the storms we never expected to walk through.

And even there,
God was growing you. 🤍
