Thankfully the satellite didn’t fall to the ground and hurt someone 😟

Roofer Dad is all fired up over these plastic pipes coming out of this roof in Sun City/Georgetown TX. This is the original roof & the cheap material used is deteriorating under the hot 🥵 TX sun! We use metal piping when we do our roofs and that’s for a reason! Because this happens way too often. Even after a few years they start to crack and deteriorate from the weather.

And here’s another video of roofers using the wrong vent for dryers… this 750 vent should never be used for a dryer vent. This is probably our biggest pet peeve… why? Because it is straight up a fire hazard. Also, we are pretty sure it works wonders on your dryer (sarcasm).

How can you tell if there’s rotten wood under the shingles? This is why we walk our roofs-when we can! If it feels squishy (best word to use 😂) it usually indicates water has gotten under the shingles and to the wood underneath & has been rotting away the wood.

Rusty nails most certainly mean there’s a leak happening on your roof that you may not even know about! It might not be 💯 leaking right this minute…but it WILL be leaking soon!

If you haven’t had anyone on your roof for a couple years, it’s probably time to call us to do your free inspection before the weather changes again!
