“In December of 2013 my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. As I was told the news from dad, I thought of all the things she would miss out on including my wedding day. My mom told me [the day I found out about her cancer], “I can’t wait to dance at your wedding.” She had NO idea that I turned my father/daughter dance into a mother/daughter dance. It was truly an emotional moment for our family to not only have her at my wedding, but the fact that her words came true...”I can’t wait to dance at your wedding.”
