✔️Very tall/deep lower cabinets to hide printer and office supplies
✔️Upper bookcases to display decor, family photos, etc.
✔️Solid poplar counter for standing workspace —with cable ports (to hide those pesky power cords)
✔️Solid poplar floating shelves with brass gallery rail to add a touch of elegance and visual pop
✔️Solid wormy maple oval table and chairs stained to match

Proud of our girl! I was telling my friend earlier today after the interview, it’s crazy to see your little girl practically grown up before your eyes. There’s selfishly a part of you that wants to hang on to your little girl but there is another side bursting with pride seeing the young woman she has become. She’s definitely come into her own and we’re just so proud of her determination to educate and bring awareness about faith and mental health.

Just had someone call me from Nashville, TN. Typically it’s SPAM but they kept calling so I answered. ☎️ “Is this Wallace Custom Woodworking? Do you deliver firewood?” I had to laugh. 😆 “No, ma’am, I make custom furniture.”

I guess it’s all perspective. Trying everything I can to keep my furniture from ending up as firewood 🪵 or in a landfill 🗑️.

To say these two boys keep us on our toes is an understatement. Can you believe they’re a year and a half apart? Most people think they’re twins at a quick glance. They’re ALWAYS competing and probably always will. Just hoping one day they will realize how unique they each are — also that they are actually allies instead of mortals enemies. 😝

📣Had to take a moment to pause my usual posts to brag on my daughter a little but but also thank everyone.🥹 At 15 years old, my daughter Lyndi has the fortitude to conquer anything she puts her mind to. A year ago, she decided she wanted to self-publish a book. Two days ago it was released and is already a “ #1 New Release” on Amazon. This is the result of a lot of hard work and dedication on her and part and also the support of A LOT of family, friends, teachers, professors and so on who helped throughout the process. It has been really inspiring for Jen and I to see how everything is playing out.

I know more than anything Lyndi just wants to help people. I’m hoping this book can be a blessing to you or someone else who wrestles with mental health and their faith journey.
