Happy Friday!! My client aka my husband wanted to turn our game room into a speakeasy. He asked and I delivered an Elevated Design that we affectionally call “Whiskey and Wine” 🥃🍷✨

Yesterday, I had the pleasure volunteering my design services to help out at The Texas Baptist Children’s Home. I was asked to re-style this bedroom for a young lady moving in soon. From what I was told, TBCH helps young adult females who’s struggling or needs a new start. They take them in, give them a temporary place to stay while they either work to save up money or go to school. I kept thinking of all the help from family I had when I was younger. I was happy to donate my time designing a nice space for them to come “home” to. With a VERY tight budget, I think it looks warm and inviting. Hoping it brings her comfort during her stay 🤍✨ (slide to see the before pics)

Best decision we made was making the fireplace the focal point of this living space! The dramatic black slate tile all the way up to the ceiling definitely makes the statement. 🖤✨
