Did this painting 11 years ago. Oil on board 8 x 10. It’s of this little old dirt road on Elk Mountain Wyoming. Glad it’s till around.

I did this small sketch awhile back. Oil on board about 5x7. I can’t find it anywhere. Did I give it to one of you?

Out the back door. Gouache 5x7. I’m focusing more on the value and temperature of color vs illustrating what I’m looking at. The overcast sky’s of the Pacific Northwest mute the colors of pretty much everything. So the values really matter.

A little creek near a park by our home. About three weeks ago this would’ve been a very deadly raging stream that could’ve taken an SUV vehicle miles downstream. Hard grafted the power of water. The nature always finds a balance. This little place which I visited 1000 times it back to being beautiful.

Texas flame flower. 5 x 7. Oil line panel. This is a bit messy. But I sort of like it.

Prickly Pear in Spring. Oil on panel. 5 x 7. First time I’ve touched a brush since Feb 25. Maybe if I actually practiced.

Working on getting a bit better at this. I consider this still a sketch. But I am practicing.

Sketches and ramblings from last night. I’m starting to draw horses because I promised my niece or cousin or some sort of relative. that I’d paint a picture of one of her horses. I’m gonna get to it. I promise Sophia.
