We are probably the only property management company that does not charge pet rent or pet deposit fees.
That being said when it cost $3000 to replace carpet in an apartment because you have allowed your pets to use the bathroom on the carpet it makes it extremely hard to keep doing that. Regular deposits ($1000-$1500 range) might cover some of that providing there’s no other damage, we have to cover the rest out of pocket.
People wonder why these corporate property management companies are charging pet rent and high pet deposits! It’s because the risk is very real that they’ll have to replace the carpet when the tenant leaves. Nothing in this country is getting cheaper. Everything is getting more expensive.
Respect where you live. Have a little pride in your home whether it’s an apartment or single family home and clean! If you own a pet be a good pet owner take it for a walk, pick up after it! Don’t let it p**s on your floor.
Don’t expect your deposit back if you’ve allowed your animal to go to the bathroom on the floors. You can expect a bill from us however! We will not allow a new tenant to move into one of our properties with animal stains on the floor or animal smells because you allowed your pet to go to the bathroom on the floor because you were a bad pet owner!

Happy Thursday everyone! I thought I would offer you all some words of wisdom today. If there is a strange cat in your apartment that is NOT your cat and you do not know how it got there then you should inform your landlord or at least question your neighbors. Unless of course, you like the cat and want its company from time to time then go ahead, enjoy your new friendship. :) (TRUE STORY) I am torn between immediately blocking this cats access or leaving it alone. LOL
The characteristics of each of our buildings is so unique. It is actually kind of fascinating. Each building has a story to tell and it's always changing based on the residents. It is my absolute FAVORITE part about owning and managing multi-family buildings. Something is always happening and it's ALWAYS entertaining.
So since this post is about cats, I think it would be cool if everyone posted a picture of their cat/cats in the comments. LOL
