Helping Veterans & First Responders with PTSD find hope via motorcycling + shared human experiences

We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation helping Veterans and First Responders with PTS(D) find hope and healing through motorcycles. At Motorcycle Missions we understand that much of the post traumatic stress (disorder) paradigm is that the need for purpose, camaraderie, and adrenaline is of the utmost importance. Our hope is to encourage our audience to instill a life-long passion for motorcycling, that will help them enjoy a happy, healthy, and balanced lifestyle after trauma.

šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø **Military & First Responder Day at Harley-Davidson’s Rally Point** was a day filled with gratitude, respect, and appreciation for the heroes who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Motorcycle Missions couldn’t have been more proud to be part of the program to serve a yummy pancake breakfast and to stand alongside so many incredible veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, families, and supporters.

Days like this remind us why our mission matters. Behind every uniform is a person. Behind every act of service is a story. And behind so many of those stories are sacrifices most of us will never fully understand.

We are incredibly grateful to **** for creating a space during Sturgis to recognize these men and women and for allowing Motorcycle Missions to be part of such a meaningful day.

To every veteran, service member, firefighter, law enforcement officer, EMT, and first responder who joined us—**thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and the communities you continue to protect.** šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

It was an honor to stand among you.

šŸŽ„ **Video 3 of our 5-part series: The Making of Build 1 — Salvador de Vida**

The vision is becoming a reality.

In Part 3, **Salvador de Vida** really starts to come together as our veteran builders turn countless hours of hard work, problem-solving, and teamwork into something they can see, hear, and be proud of.

But this build has never been just about creating a motorcycle. It’s about the process—the skills learned, the challenges overcome, the relationships built, and the purpose found along the way.

We’re getting close to the finish line.

**One more chapter to go. Stay tuned for Part 4.**

Motorcycle Missions was deeply honored to be in the presence of retired NYC Firefighters Tim Duffy and Rob Carlo** during Harley-Davidson Military & Veterans Day at Rally Point in Sturgis. šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø

On September 11, 2001, Tim Duffy was among the NY firefighters who responded to the attacks on the World Trade Center. He rode his motorcycle into Lower Manhattan, arriving near the South Tower as it collapsed. He survived the devastation and continued helping others throughout the day.

Alongside Tim was **Rob Carlo**, a NY firefighter whose connection to September 11th is profoundly personal. Rob lost his brother that day, and today he carries his memory—and the memory of the hundreds of first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice—with him on the road.

Rob is riding his motorcycle through **all 50 states** in honor of his brother and those who gave their lives on 9/11. Every state. Every mile. A tribute to lives that must never be forgotten.

To stand alongside these two men is a powerful reminder that the impact of September 11th did not end that day. Its legacy lives in the families who lost loved ones, the first responders who survived, and those who continue to carry their stories forward.

As an organization dedicated to serving veterans and first responders, Motorcycle Missions is humbled to share space with people like Tim and Rob—and to help keep alive the stories of service, sacrifice, resilience, and brotherhood they represent. 🩵

This 9/11, we remember the fallen. We honor those who answered the call. And we stand beside those who continue to carry their memory forward.**

šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø We will never forget.

šŸ„žšŸļø **Our 2nd Annual Pancakes & Pistons was a complete HIT!**

Great food, motorcycles, incredible people, and a community coming together for a mission we all believe in—what more could we ask for?

A huge thank you to our sponsor **** for standing alongside Motorcycle Missions and helping us create opportunities to recognize, support, and celebrate the men and women who have served our country and our communities.

And thank you to everyone who showed up, grabbed some pancakes, shared some stories, and helped make our second year even bigger and better.

**Pancakes. Pistons. Purpose.** šŸ„žšŸļø

We’re already looking forward to year three!

🩵 IT'S TEAL TUESDAY 🩵

Today, let’s talk about something firefighters can carry with them long after the flames are out: the wear and tear of the job—and the toxic exposures that can contribute to serious, lifelong illness.

Firefighters don’t just battle fire. They can be exposed to smoke, soot, combustion byproducts, diesel exhaust, contaminated gear, and other hazardous substances over the course of their careers. Some of these occupational exposures have been associated with increased risks of certain cancers and other long-term health problems.

And exposure doesn’t always end when the fire is extinguished. Contaminants can remain on turnout gear, equipment, apparatus, and skin—making decontamination, proper PPE practices, health screenings, and continued research incredibly important.

For veterans and first responders, we often talk about the injuries we can see. Teal Tuesday is also about recognizing the ones we can’t.

To every firefighter who has put their health on the line while protecting someone else: we see you. We honor you. And we believe your long-term health matters. 🩵

šŸŽ„ **Video 2 of our 5-part series: The Making of Build 1 — Salvador de Vida**

Every build has a story—and Salvador de Vida is about so much more than the motorcycle.

In Part 2, we take you deeper into the build process and the hands, hard work, challenges, and teamwork that brought this bike to life.

Built by veterans. Guided by mentorship. Fueled by purpose.

This is what Motorcycle Missions is all about.

Stay tuned for Videos 3 & 4 as we continue the story of **Salvador de Vida**. 🩵
