Yes, this happens to me my favorite Camellia, it also happens to be the oldest Cultivar known to man. This Japonica is named 'Alba Plena' and it always has stunning blooms; it was my first Camellia that I planted in our winter Garden in 1972, and it is now over 20 feet tall.

I absolutely love this time of the year, it's when my winter garden comes alive. Here's a Japonica called 'Desire' and it always has exquisite pink flowers.

This must be an award-winning Japonica somewhere, simply because it always has a beautiful bloom, always. This Cultivar is named "Lady Clare" and we have many planted in our Winter Garden, at last count, we have over 200 Camellias in our Winter Garden.

Great opportunities for a great picture don't come by often, here's a picture of my corgi, Ellie, sitting right next to the first DEER BLOCK that I placed beneath one of our Oak trees.

This is the "Mine No Yuki" Camellia Sasanqua, which is also known as "Snow on the Mountain". It happens to be my favorite Sasanqua; I have so many that I can't honestly tell you how many we have.

Got home last night, and our furry friend was waiting on me, right where I always put out deer corn every evening. That reminds me, I need 4 bags of deer corn and one bag of Sunflower Seeds.

Finally, my favorite time of the year has arrived. Yes, it's Camellia time. Our Sasanquas, the "Mine No Yuki" which is also known as "Snow on the Mountain". They line both sides, all along our driveway to the house are now blooming. This Sasanqua was my grandmother and my mother's favorite as well and mine too.

Here's a new Rose bloom from our garden, it's a very historic Cultivar called 'Rosa Mundi', it's a French rose dating back to 1581. When I first saw its bloom, I said I had to have it. Of course, it was a special-order deal, something you will never find locally.
