I am a singer-song writer and music producer, who fuses Zen, Hymns and the Blues!
My music is a combination of Americana Blues, Eclectic Pop, and a reinventing of the Hymns I grew up with and Zen spirituality. I grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and remain deeply connected to my roots and the Hymns that I first learned to sing. I grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and remain deeply connected to my roots and the Hymns that I first learned to sing. I started writing songs at age 12 and by the age of 18 was touring in a Christian Rock Band. I studied Classical Voice and Music at Goshen College under Professor Kay Montgomery.
My song writing has grown from being exposed to new song writers like Texan Sam Beam and Michael Fracasso to old die-hards like Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. During my journey as a musician, I have encountered many experiences playing with exceptional Jazz and Soul musicians around the country from Pennsylvania, Montana and now in Austin, Tx .
