We had a fun casting class this month.

A blast was had by all this April on our Salado creek outing.

April 14 we had a great time tying flies.

We hit one of our home waters this past weekend, Berry Creek, and had a great time. Bonus: the fish were cooperative!!!

We enjoyed a rod building class yesterday.

For our monthly meeting in December we learned the triple surgeon, speed blood knot. Our senior rod building instructor gave us an overview of rod building. We are planning an all day session one Saturday in the near future to work on rod building.

We fished the Lampasas River this Sunday and caught a few willing fish. Sunday Funday!!!!

For our last outing, Matt wanted to fish for Cichlids and he caught one right off the bat. He also had a first, catching a warmouth. Useless trivia: who knows the other names used for warmouth?

At our monthly meeting this Tuesday we had a presentation on fly fishing in Colorado and learned how to tie the Wooly Bu**er.
