It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the painful news of Jeremy Tang Diaz's passing. After an arduous two-month battle in the hospital, Jeremy left us, leaving Team Rabadi shattered by the loss. We felt it was important to reach out to those who offered unwavering support during his challenging journey.

The weight of Jeremy's absence is palpable, and the void he leaves behind is immeasurable. In remembering him, we are reminded of a young soul with extraordinary character and an indomitable spirit. His resilience in the face of adversity and his ability to inspire those around him were truly exceptional.

During this trying time, we find solace in the collective strength of our team. To honor Jeremy's memory, let us continue to train and support each other, drawing inspiration from the remarkable qualities he embodied. Living our lives with the same outstanding character that Jeremy exemplified becomes a poignant tribute, a way to keep his spirit alive in our daily endeavors.

We recognize that Jeremy's passing has not only impacted our team but has also deeply affected his family. We kindly ask for your understanding and compassion as we navigate through the challenges ahead. Giving the family the space they need to process their grief is of utmost importance.

In the days and weeks ahead, let us come together to share our memories of Jeremy, celebrating the positive impact he had on each of our lives. As we mourn his loss, may we find strength in the unity of Team Rabadi and in the legacy of a brave soul who touched us all.

Our thoughts are with Jeremy's family, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew and loved him.

'I saw my 6-year-old laying in a pool of blood' | Georgetown father opens up after son was beaten with baseball bat 09/15/2023

Dear Team Rabadi Members,
Unfortunately, this week has brought distressing news from one of our
own from our Georgetown Academy, Jeremy Tang-Diaz. Jeremy's father, Art,
informed us of his hospitalization earlier this week. Further details
surrounding this unfortunate event and outcome are available in the
linked article and video.
At this time, we refrain from discussing the specifics of the incident,
focusing instead on how our remarkable team can extend its support to
Jeremy and his family, and to one another as we embark on the path of
healing.
I am pleased to inform you that on Thursday, September 7th, Jeremy
achieved the distinction of earning his Grey/White belt. This
accomplishment designates him as the first member of Team Rabadi
Georgetown in the youngest age kids’ class (4-6 year-old) to attain this
promotion. Jeremy epitomizes the virtues a martial artist and a great
leader should embody. His display of courage, kindness, focus,
discipline, respect, and loyalty is a testament to the values instilled
by his family. Jeremy, in his quiet leadership, gentle spirit, and
resolute mind, leaves an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to
interact with him.
If you have ever met him, you would have noticed Jeremy's unfailing
kindness towards everyone he encounters. While honing his Jiu-Jitsu
techniques under the guidance of his coaches, Jeremy never hesitated to
encourage them to improve their belt-tying technique. In every class, he
adeptly tied his "black belt knot" and generously shared his expertise
with his teammates (and coaches). Jeremy is not merely a member of Team
Rabadi; he exemplifies the very essence of our team.
In light of this challenging period, we hope to provide a means through
which you can extend your support to Jeremy's family. Enclosed in our
link tree is a GoFundMe campaign aimed at aiding them during this trying
time. We kindly request you to consider making a contribution or sharing
the link. Your support for your teammates is cherished, and we are
immensely grateful for any assistance offered at this time. We ask that
you treat the family with the utmost respect and offer your unwavering
support as they, together with their friends and the wider community,
navigate the path to recovery.
We want to honor Jeremy, and his family, by closing our Georgetown
Academy through the weekend. Our Pflugerville location will be open to
the full & complete schedule.
We understand that many families with children who are Jeremy's friends
and teammates at Team Rabadi Georgetown may seek additional information
concerning the situation. We are currently working with a Doctor of
Social Work, with experience and expertise in grief counseling, who is
lending us their tremendous help to best navigate ahead. Your patience
and understanding is greatly appreciated as we work through this.
