Seeking public office in Georgetown Ohio.

I'm pretty shook up. At 5AM this morning, I was walking down my driveway to get the garbage cans from the curb. It was still dark outside. Two people wearing hats that said "BROADBAND SUCKS" jumped out of the shadows and tied some computer wire around my neck and yelled "THIS IF FIBER COUNTRY, LOSER!!" then ran away. I guess they know there is an upcoming vote of a fiber optic project in Georgetown and, me being on Village Council, thought they could intimidate me.

Last night, at Georgetown ‘s “Meet The Village Council Candidates” public forum, a question was posed to the candidates about what type of idea you would bring to the Village as a council person. I responded with a plan involving solar generation for our village.
The plan is a complicated one to try to outline in the few short minutes that the forum allowed. A proper explanation would take about a half hour.
This video briefly explains what we did at Adams County Ohio Valley Schools. Briefly.
The mechanics would be very similar for a small town and the only real constraint would be waiting for the expiration of any current purchase power agreement between the village and a utility provider, in our case, American Municipal Power.
In any event, For those who haven’t seen it previously, feel free to check out the video below and feel free to DM me with any questions.
Thank you.

The Wolfe Family will be donating our DJ services to this great cause tonight.
Tickets available at the door!
As I was setting up my equipment for this event earlier I was struck by the sheer number of people and businesses that have donated auction items and raffle prizes for this event. It’s nice seeing a community come together for charitable event.
We hope to see you there!!
Earlier this year I was selected to fill a vacant seat on our Village Council in Georgetown Ohio. My brief time as a councilperson has sparked my interest in serving beyond my current term which will expire at the end of this year.
In our next election on November 2 I will be asking for your vote to fill a 2 year term from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2023.
For the last 13 years I have worked in the public eye as an administrator at a nearby school district. In my role there, I oversee a multimillion dollar budget, manage several employees, and have demonstrated a proven track record of effective leadership. I have negotiated several agreements favorable to the school district, reduced overhead spending, streamlined efficiency, and managed large-scale projects. I feel that my background in business management can translate into being an effective village council member.
My pledge as a candidate is fairly simple. I will do my homework and make sure I am always well versed on the issues that face our community and let the best interest of every citizen guide my decision-making. I am very approachable and will go out of my way to make myself available to anyone who has suggestions, ideas, or complaints pertaining to our town.
For those of you reading this who reside in Georgetown, I'd greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve you in the future.
