Back to school is right around the corner, in whatever form that is going to be. You know what that means.... sports, drama productions, choir concerts, and recess (my favorite subject when I was in school). What also comes along with those activities is accidents. I was humbled today by an experience I had that I wanted to share. I had the privilege of meeting with one of the spouses of a policyholder and assist him in filing a claim on his wife’s life insurance policy. I have known this man and his family for many years, and he never said more than two words to me, but today he said two words that humbled me. He told me “thank you.” He thanked me for being diligent in making sure that his wife’s insurance always got paid so that it made it easier on his family today.
