The gardener’s wife fulfilled her promise by making a delicious soup with the freshly harvested Sh*taki mushrooms from the Eddie Ellis Commmunity Garden , and it is deliciously enjoyable.

Master Gardner Tim Chatman has been extremely busy at the Eddie Ellis Community Garden. These Sh*taki mushrooms logs were place in the garden early November and produce these beautiful mushrooms. The Smart Garden Consultant harvest two varieties of sweet potatoes. Namely Murasaki(white) and Covington. Despite the Murasaki distinctly different taste both are exceptional delicious.

It was truly uplifting to hear the vibrant buzzing, which seemed to emanate from the lively gardeners that attended the “Fall Garden Luncheon” hosted by Smart Garden Consultant Tim Chatman. As a heartwarming gesture, gardeners were gifted plants from visiting gardeners. The Gardeners Luncheon was an unforgettable experience that left everyone feeling inspired and energized.
