Happy 1️⃣3️⃣th Birthday to Old Friends resident Green Mask!

Our son of Mizzen Mast is Green Mask. He's a true survivor. Foaled in 2011, out of Bonsai Beauty, Mask was among the top Sprinters in his crop, winning multiple graded stakes races and earning over one million dollars. And that was only Act 1. After suffering a devastating injury during a workout in 2017, he endured multiple surgeries and a lengthy recovery before arriving at Old Friends. Still one of the most energetic retirees at our farm, he will remind you it's carrot time. We are very grateful he's here to tell his story.

Hi Everyone! GREEN MASK here. Wishing a very Happy New Year to all my friends & fans, & reminding you it’s not too late to get me something from the Old Friends Giving Tree. You could get me senior feed, a big round bale of hay, carrots, or you could feed me for a whole year! Just don’t get me the dental visit. (I really want the carrots!).
