From adoption to Forever homes, mustangs and their future

Worked on feel and touch today and finished with boundary encroachment (got within 3 feet today before he ran)

Shadow is all flight reactive to getting near him, but he accepts new things very quickly. If he spooks at something, I drop it and walk away, he immediately investigates and decides ok I can accept that.

I used the whip string to add touch to his movements. Then I ran it all over his face, ears, neck, body.. until it touched his tail, then he freaked but settled.

With my knee finally healed up, got my rope on Shadow yesterday. He has been very slow at coming around. Patience is definitely his virtue.
Very sweet personality, he wants love and scratches but just doesn't want to give up his independence just yet.

Shadow is coming along nicely. He definitely has the patience. He's eaten hay out of my hand twice now, but knows I won't let him be hungry, so he just waits me out. He loves to do laps around his field full tilt. When the mares are in heat he become rather proud cut, so we will be working with and around those manners. But one step/day at a time. He is such a sweetheart.
