Benold Middle School

Congratulations to the Benold SeaPerch (underwater robotics team) for their performance at international competition in Maryland!!! The finished in the top 25% with an overall place of 22nd! The competition was tough, but our Bears encouraged each other, persevered and finished strong! SHOUT OUT to Coach Champion for her tireless work to support our teams! Go Bears!

Summer SHOUT OUT to the Benold Cheerleaders! These kiddos are working hard to be ready for another great year!

Love seeing the incoming 7th and 8th graders from Forbes and Benold putting in summer work! SHOUT OUT to the Falcon and Bear coaches who make this happen!

The annual GISD employee recognition banquet was well-represented with Benold faces! Congratulations (and many thanks) for your years of service Mrs. Becky Cansler, Ms. Amy Draeger, Coach Hauser, Ms. Deb Kleen and Mrs. Norma Guillen! Amy and Becky are off to retirement adventures where they will be missed but not forgotten.

The Choir Banquet was exceptional! Our students celebrated a year's worth of amazing performances, superior accomplishments and memories that will always be cherished! A special shout out to Mr. Pulver and Mr. Sawicki for a job well done!

May was a busy month, and we got a little behind in posting all of the celebrations of student/staff accomplishments! It's time to catch up on all of the great things happening to conclude a fantastic year! Congratulations to the 4th quarter GRRRIT award winners!
