DON’T DO THIS PLEASE!!! This lady has been a stomach sleeper for years 😴 The natural position for a person sleeping on their stomach is to rest the side of their face on the back of the hand. Compression of the cheek tissue from the knuckles has caused displacement of tissue resulting in bilateral dents. 1.5mls per side of dermal filler was used to start. More treatments will be required!

As the body temperature rises the nervous system activates the sweat glands to help cool itself. In patients with hyperhidrosis the nerves that activate the sweat glands are overactive. Botox® acts locally by temporarily blocking the secretion of the chemical that is responsible for activating the sweat glands thereby shutting them “off,” preventing sweating in the local area.

I have injected a lot of lips and have witnessed a lot of injectors work but this truly scared me!! 😳
This poor lady was injected with a hyaluron pen the day before by another individual and contacted me asking if I could use a dissolving agent to balance out her lips.
A hyaluron pen uses compressed air to force the hyaluronic acid gell through the skin into the lip. It is a very dangerous treatment, putting the person at risk of a vascular occlusion. The hyaluron pen has gained in popularity because it can be purchased and used by anyone.
Unfortunately there were occlusions in both top and bottom lips with greatly reduced circulation. Without treatment this could have been a disaster resulting in tissue necrosis.
Balancing was not an option. I completely dissolved top and bottom lip and the patient regained circulation.
Lesson: Make sure the person injecting your face is trained, qualified and experienced!!
