The Urban Water Management Plan Public Hearing has been rescheduled to June 10, 2026, at 2PM at the Pilot Hill Grange, 1701 CA-193, Cool, Ca 95614. The District will also be having a townhall regarding the Strategic Plan on this date.

2026 Irrigation Season Update:

The Irrigation season will start on May 15th and end on October 15th. The first bill for the season will be sent out on May 1st and the last bill will be sent out on September 1st.

Georgetown Divide Public Utility is going to be hosting a Townhall for the Urban Water Management Plan and a potential Water Transfer on March 26, 2026, at 6PM at the Pilot Grange, 1701 CA-193, Cool, CA 95614.

GDPUD invites applications for the position of: One full-Time MAINTENANCE WORKER I: $25.05 to $30.45 per hour plus benefits, depending on qualifications.

OPENING DATE: January 26, 2026

FINAL FILING DATE: Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. First review date for applications will be held on February 23, 2026.

The District invites interested Irrigation customers to apply for public member positions on the Irrigation Committee.

The primary role of the Irrigation Committee is to assist the Board in the review of District Irrigation information and to make recommendations to the Board on matters related to Irrigation. The committee, an advisory body, reports to the Board and meets 8-10 months of the year. The Committee currently has 3 available openings, and the Board Liaison members are Andy Fisher and Donna Seaman.

Persons interested in applying for an appointment to the Irrigation Committee are asked to submit a letter of interest with a resume by email to the General Manager at [email protected]. Letters of Interest can also be delivered by mail, or in person, to the District Office, 6425 Main Street, Georgetown, CA 95634.
