Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy. If anyone there needs anything from us, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are holding all the families in Oklahoma close in our hearts during this heartbreaking time.

When conducting structural inspections, you often encounter unexpected and curious sights that tell unique stories. Take this car, for example — it has clearly been here longer than the buildings surrounding it.(we did verify this via Google Earth) It’s completely landlocked, trapped in place as if it belongs to the site itself. One can’t help but wonder: why wasn’t the car moved during construction? Is it a forgotten monument, a relic preserved by time? Or perhaps it holds sentimental value, a memory someone couldn’t bear to let go of. These odd details add a layer of human history and mystery to the otherwise technical world of inspections.

Isaac is currently seeking an internship opportunity where he can gain experience working under a licensed architect. If you know of any architects or firms that might be able to offer him a position, please kindly inform him. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Isaac Spradling is a hardworking and intelligent young man. While we may seem biased since he is our son, his exceptional work ethic truly stands out and is rare to find these days. His previous employers would undoubtedly share the same positive feedback about his dedication and professionalism.

We’re proud to share a little about someone who’s been part of Spradling Engineering since the very beginning — our son, Isaac James Spradling.
Isaac is currently a sophomore in the College of Architecture at Texas A&M, and alongside his studies he has been working with us in the business at varying levels of responsibility since we opened our doors. This past semester, his design studio final focused on the design of a bathhouse along the Trinity River in Dallas, with an emphasis on materiality, form, and biophilic design.
His team explored how architecture can create emotional and sensory experiences, using petal-like forms to shape the interior spaces and layered levels rather than rigid, orthogonal layouts. The project combined wave-inspired geometry, a bold pink EIFS exterior, and a warm, wood-rich interior intended to feel natural, calming, and restorative.
We love seeing the next generation of designers and engineers think deeply about how the built environment affects people — not just structurally, but experientially. It’s been a privilege watching Isaac grow into his craft, and we’re excited to see where his path leads.
