Update: Vet said the horn went in a lot deeper than originally thought but he will make a full recovery. Thank you for all the prayers.
Well I got a call tonight to track an Axis, loaded Ringo and headed over there. As soon as I let him out he was on the trail and shortly after he got stuck. Loaded him up and rushed him to the Vet. Got back home to load up Rona and the pup and went back and got him. Look closely at the horn and you can see the blood where he hooked Ringo.

Season has slowed down for a while but got a few good calls this weekend for exotics. Ringo and Pancho were sure glad to get some action.

It all started with one if not the BEST DEER DOGS I’ve ever had, LittleFoot. He was one of a kind and I still miss trailing behind him. But his legacy continues. Welcome Ms. Shelby to the team. She is part of LittleFoot’s bloodline and we can’t wait to see what her future holds. She has big shoes to fill. 🩷🎀
