We are on day 25 of the US Government shutdown and budget standoff. Over 800,000 Federal employees will not receive paychecks which can result in tremendous hardship. If this affects you, or someone you know, please dial 211 to see what support is available during this difficult time. This service is new to Kane County effective 11/1/2018. Specialists are available 24/7/365 to answer your call and to help you find support.

Sometimes it's hard to get to a delivery because of roads,stairs,etc...but this is the first time it was hard just to get to the truck!

Another successful delivery for Lazarus House!Loaded the truck and headed out. Lazarus House employee met us at the door. An alumni of LH came over to help us unload. Turns out we helped him out a while back. Great way to pay it forward! Thank you!

Pick up, side trip, delivery. We picked up a mattress and then did a side trip to All Spoked Up to donate a bike. Then out to a CHIPIN delivery of mattress, box spring, frame and bedding. 90 degrees...and nice helpers!

Picked out 2 large dressers for a TriCityFanilyServices family. Cleaned and polished (because that is just what I do) and then delivered to 4 smiling faces. Cant show you their faces but I can show you their cat that appreciated us too as we give good scratches.

Immanuel Lutheran in Batavia had a bunk bed available after their sale. We picked it up Monday. Unloaded it and put new matresses on it Thursday. Friday we had an ask from TriCityFamilyServices for a bunk bed. Saturday we delivered it to a very happy, helpful family!!! Anyone surprised at that quick turn around? I am!

A great big THANK YOU goes out to Immanuel Church and CHIPIN today. Immanuel allowed us a night time shopping hour to pick out needed furniture. Then CHIPIN gave us funds to purchase them. We LOVE shopping this sale every year. Friendly, helpful, caring people. Batavia is a city full of people with big hearts! THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!

Here is Fransisco, the owner of the Pit Stop and one of the nicest, honest, auto shop owners I have ever met.
Old truck and we really want to keep it going. The minute we heard noises we headed to the shop. He could have easily socked us with a big repair bill for breaks. Looked it over, did an oil change and said we were good to go- NO CHARGE!
Please if you need an oil change or your car looked at or worked on,head to the Pit Stop in St.Charles. And tell Fransisco HI from us.

Yikes! Finished the delivery and engine light comes on and brakes squeak. Thankfully Francisco from Pit Stop is available to take a look at it. He is one of the nicest guys out there!
