Thursday was JAM PACKED with SAGES activites! After a day's hard work pressing cider, Station students, staff, and faculty gathered together for a Thanksgiving feast. Good food. Great people.

Yesterday was our second cider press of the academic year, just in time for Thanksgiving!
Thanks to all the Station members who donated their time to press and bottle cider.
And be sure to pick up a jug or two! All money from cider sales goes to fund scholarships for high school seniors from area schools seeking higher education in agricultural sciences.

Getting ready for another year of cider production! We got a chance to enjoy the beautiful NYS fall weather the other day and picked two and a half bins of Empires and Jonagolds. Looking forward to turning these into fresh, delicious apple cider early next week!

Our own Dr. Susan Brown with Dean Dr. Kathryn Boor and NYS Senator Michael Nozzolio announcing a $600,000 grant for the purchase of a Hiperbaric 55 pressure processor. This machine will be the newest jewel in the crown of the Station's cutting-edge research.
Thanks, Senator, Dean and Director!
