🏳️‍🌈 This Pride Month, CASA Kane County celebrates the importance of ensuring every child feels seen, valued, supported, and safe.

Children and youth in foster care deserve caring adults who will listen, advocate, and stand beside them, just as they are.

We are committed to supporting and advocating for all children, helping them find stability, belonging, and hope for the future.

Our Executive Director, Jim Di Ciaula, former board member Ray Drake, and Outreach Coordinator Elizabeth Serediuk met with Representative Barbara Hernandez at her Aurora office to explore new ways to partner in serving the culturally diverse communities of the Aurora area.

Building strong connections matters. Representative Hernandez emphasized the importance of deepening relationships with local organizations and community leaders, recognizing their meaningful presence and impact throughout Aurora.

Yesterday, we had the honor of swearing in a new group of CASA Kane County volunteers who are ready to be powerful voices for children in foster care.

A special thank you to Board Chairman Matt Sidman and CASA Program & Education Director Sandie Cross for helping welcome and celebrate these dedicated advocates as they begin their CASA journey.

Every new volunteer brings hope, stability, and support to children who need it most. We are grateful for their commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and families throughout Kane County.
