Normally we like to celebrate BIG but this year feels a bit different. Sorta like one must feel after running a marathon (I’m only guessing on that one 😉) - you want to celebrate and you’re so very proud but also just a tiny 🤏 bit tired.

After our hardest year yet - we are still SO very proud of 4 years down and still SO very thankful for all the love and support!

Yesterday we had one of our bags reused to make a bouquet and it reminded us of the purpose and importance of shopping and selling resale!
It’s estimated that in the United States more than 80 pounds of clothing per person are thrown away each year. By giving your clothes a new home, you’re not only helping yourself, but you’re helping our environment!

Last week we got to experience the yucky side of social media and owning a small business. Man, did it suck. When you pour your heart into your business and someone takes the time to use social media for bad, it just hits differently. Thankfully, it was just what we needed to remember our ‘why’!

I started Always Growing to fill a void - there are hardly any children’s resale stores around 💔 - a dying industry that is so hard to stay afloat in. As well as, to support others. From the families we give a little extra to, to off set the amount us parents spend on clothes yearly for our ever growing kids or the families that find great deals here or the local makers we support by selling their items in store or the local gals we employ. We are all about growth, kindness, goodness, support and a whole lotta love 🫶🏼

Our ‘why’ will remain the same. Let us take this opportunity for growth, turning petty into passion & purpose! People matter, small businesses matter, Thank you to those that continue to support and encourage us!
