Nextlink Internet notified us that the fiber cut has been repaired and the service outage has been resolved.

Nextlink Internet is experiencing issues in the Gatesville area due to a fiber cut that is impacting both wireless and fiber customers. No ETR at this time.

Nextlink Internet Service Notice

We are currently aware of intermittent connectivity and degraded service affecting several clients using Nextlink Wireless this afternoon.

Nextlink support has confirmed that their NOC team is actively working on an issue impacting multiple towers in the region, including areas around:

Fairfield
Gatesville
Hubbard
Marlin
Stonewall

At this time, Nextlink has not provided an estimated time of resolution.

We will continue monitoring the issue and will share updates as more information becomes available.

We along with multiple other SpectrumVoIP clients are currently experiencing phone issues. Calls can be made but there is no audio or only one way audio.

We have a case open and are working it with SpectrumVoIp.

Year 15.

Another year in the books, and I’m even prouder of this one. We’ve continued to improve, grow, and raise the bar across the board.

Personally, I’ve learned more this year about leading and managing people than I did in the previous fourteen combined. That’s been humbling, sometimes uncomfortable, and absolutely worth it.

Quick update from the Coryell County Commissioners Court:

We presented first today as one of four finalists. Not all commissioners could attend, but those present asked good questions. We did our best not just to answer, but to inform. Trust is a two-way street, and we want to continue earning the County’s trust. We’re local—and it’s our tax dollars too—so we’re focused on spending them wisely while improving service and reducing IT costs.

The Court is expected to make a decision at the October 14 commissioners meeting.
