Ok, ok, ok...
Enough making fun of the ranch bronc boys for a little while.
I mean, I do have one more good one in the chamber, but we'll let them recover for a few weeks.
This week, let's spread the love around and poke a little fun at the tie-down ropers instead.
I figure most of them miss their calves anyway, so they'll probably miss this joke too.
Remember kids: IT IS A JOKE π
*Edit I found out how to do Facebook and Instagram at the saem time... I hope*
Going Live on Instagram at 9pm EST to talk about the upcoming deal in DC a bit. Afterwards I might hop on here or Tiktok. Sorry I don't have 3 phones to do them all at once π
Talking to some of these guys always makes me feel a little better about myself sometimes.
We have to remember that while we're often our own hardest critics, we should also be our own biggest cheerleaders.
Just because things don't seem perfect to you in the moment doesn't mean you're not improving. There is a win in every ride if you're willing to look for it. Maybe all you did was nod your head right. Maybe you marked one out. Maybe you made it a little farther than you did last time.
Those things matter.
Progress isn't always measured in checks won or buckles earned. Sometimes it's measured in the small things nobody else notices.
Celebrate your victories, but don't dwell on them. Just like your defeats. Learn from both, then move on.
Stay hungry. Keep improving. Keep moving forward.
One small win at a time.
Now enjoy watching me struggle to put my chaps on. π
The secret is out!
We're bringing rodeo to the National Mall in Washington, D.C.!
More details are coming tonight or tomorrow, depending on when I get a chance to film a video, but here's the short version:
I've been given an incredible opportunity to represent rodeo on one of the most iconic stages in America. For 16 consecutive days, I'll have the honor of climbing aboard a saddle bronc and showcasing our sport on the National Mall.
Over the next two weeks, I'll be sharing a lot more information, along with some custom gear that several incredible companies have made for this event. There are some really exciting things in the works, and I can't wait to show you all.
Stay tuned, because this is going to be one heck of a ride!
Beastmaster Rodeo
Squeak's Bronc Reins
Warbonnet Hats
Buckaroo Supply Co.
The wait is almost over.
Tomorrow, we finally get to share what we've been hinting at. This is a big oneβyou won't want to miss it.
America, enough said.
Me right now with all the details of my big announcement falling together. I promise you the wait is almost over!! Keep watching cause I'm thinking about doing a live video for this. Its that BIG!
My wife and kids have only ever known me as a saddle bronc rider.
I mean, how lucky are they?
Who wants a normal husband or dad when you can have one who's constantly sore, offers to take them every weekend to chase rodeos, is obsessed with broncs, and is probably missing more than a few brain cells?
In all seriousness though, rodeo has given me a life I wouldn't trade for anything. It's given me amazing friends, incredible memories, and a family that's been crazy enough to support me through all of it.
They may not have gotten a normal husband and dad, but hopefully they feel like they've gotten a pretty good one.
Here's a little before, during, and after of a ride at Cowtown. My buddy Brett is getting on a young horse making its first trip out at Cowtown Rodeo. It's always fun watching these young horses figure out their job and seeing how they progress from trip to trip. Enjoy the ride!
