If you are interested in attending services or events at Temple Israel please email [email protected] with your full name, the full names of those accompanying you, copies of IDs for all new attendees, and information about how to best contact you. We will then follow up with you about a date for your visit. This process can take several days and we ask that you do not attempt to visit Temple Israel without first completing these steps. We warmly welcome non-members to join us for services. Because of security concerns we simply ask that if you would like to visit Temple Israel, please contact us at 219-938-5232 or [email protected] to let us know when you are coming and who will be with you (even if you have attended in the past). If you do not contact Temple Israel before arriving , you will be asked to provide identification and a phone number and will then be invited back to a subsequent service or event.

We had a huge turnout on Friday, but there's still tons of stuff left at the Temple Israel Rummage Sale, which continues on Sunday from 12 - 3 pm. And don't forget -- from 2 - 3 pm it's fill-a-bag of clothes for $5 and everything else half off! Go ahead -- make our day, come shop with us!

Due to the dangerous driving conditions, please be advised that the Israel Speaker Series scheduled for Sunday, January 21, has been POSTPONED. We will let everyone know what the new date is once it has been determined.
