Jessica Renslow has chosen to invest deeply in the heart of Indiana’s District 3. Her career has focused on education, technology, and community advocacy.
From a large blended family, she truly is representative of the diversity that is unique to Gary, Hobart and Lake Station. She grew up in Gary’s Miller Community, went to public school, put herself through college/ grad school, worked abroad and across the country. In 2015 she returned to The Region to pilot the Neighborhood Spotlight Program. Since its kickoff, this grassroots initiative has been
hugely successful. Much of this is due to Jessie’s leadership. She has an innate ability to foster collaborative efforts that lead to project implementation. Jessie has led a cross-section of people to work collectively on improving the quality of life in Northwest Indiana.
