Brother Brian E. Muhammad, an accomplished journalist, world traveler and longtime member of the Nation of Islam, returned to Allah (God) on May 31 at the age of 60. On behalf of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam Shura Executive Council, Final Call General Manager Abdul Rasul Muhammad, Interim Editor Starla Muhammad, the Final Call Staff and the Nation of Islam, we thank Allah (God) for the life and tremendous contributions of our beloved and dear brother. Brother Brian was a longtime Final Call Staff Writer who extensively covered events in the Middle East, Africa and other countries. The janazah (funeral) service for Brother Brian was held on Sunday, June 7 in South Carolina. The Final Call will pay tribute to the commitment and work of Brother Brian E.
