Good Morning ELC Families!
Here are some upcoming Back to School Events in the community.

We're hiring 3rd Grade Teachers!

Join us if you are new to the ELC! Please note the Pre-K and K-2 sessions are different.

We are hiring for our ELC campus as well as our CSD campus!

Hello Families! As a reminder, bus sign ups are currently taking place at the ELC as well as CSD, please make sure to make your way to either building to sign-up!

**Late Day Sign-Ups will only take place at the CSD Building with Ms. Ingram

Calumet Township is offering up to $200 per eligible child to assist with school uniform purchases for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year.

Please review the information carefully:
⚠️CSD ELC Families would attend: OPTION 3 — ALL OTHER Eligible Calumet Township Families
(For families whose children do NOT attend Thea Bowman or Gary Community School Corporation schools)
📍 Calumet Township Multi-Purpose Center
📅 July 10 & July 11
⏰ 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
✅ Families must meet at least ONE eligibility requirement to qualify.
✅ Required documentation MUST be presented AT THE TIME OF application.
Documentation Required to Apply:
-Families must bring the following items to be eligible for
uniform assistance:

-Valid Indiana Driver’s License or State-Issued Photo ID

-Proof of current residence
- If the address on the ID does not match your current address, please bring a recent utility bill or bank statement

Original Social Security Cards for all household members
- Photocopies, scanned images, or digital
versions will NOT be accepted

2026–2027 School Enrollment Verification Letter
- Applicants must reside within Calumet Township

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, families must meet at least one of the following:

*Received Calumet Township assistance within the
past 12 months

*Current SNAP recipient (approval letter required)

*Choice Scholarship student (scholarship award
letter required)

*Reside in a designated low-income census tract

*Vouchers available while funding lasts.
